Regular school hours are 8:45 a.m. to 3:35 p.m. On half-day/early release days, students in grades K-5 are dismissed at 12:55 p.m.

History
The history of Point Elementary School dates back to 1840, when Mrs. Katherine Burg dedicated a room in her farmhouse as a classroom. In the 1870, a one-room stone building was built on the school’s current campus. The bell in front of Point Elementary School is the original school bell from one of the original buildings.
