History
The history of Point Elementary School dates back to 1840, when Mrs. Katherine Burg dedicated a room in her farmhouse as a classroom. In the 1870, a one-room stone building was built on the school’s current campus. The bell in front of Point Elementary School is the original school bell from one of the original buildings.
